From the C-suite to the stage
I didn’t learn this from a stage; I learned it in the seats behind one. For more than 20 years, I’ve held senior and C-suite roles in nonprofits, venture-backed tech, and government. I was getting. things. done.
But behind the applause, I was over-performing, under-rooted, and using my voice in ways that didn’t match what I believed. That disconnect lit a fire in me. Once I stopped performing and started owning my voice, everything shifted: my leadership, my relationships, my influence.
That’s what I bring to every stage now. Not a performance. The truth, the strategy that works, and a little soul. I’ve spoken from Kansas to Kazakhstan, sat with executives through tough transitions, and watched rooms change when communication, emotional intelligence, and trust finally line up.
